We currently offer CEUs for Functional Nutrition Therapy (FNT), Functional Herbal Therapy (FHT), and Functional Herbal Therapy and Cancer (FHTAC) through NCCAOM and NANP. We are also approved by the California Acupuncture State Board for continuing education.
At the end of Functional Nutrition Therapy, Functional Herbal Therapy, and Functional Herbal Therapy and Cancer, after all of the quizzes, worksheets, and final exams are completed, you will receive a certificate from Society of Wellness Nutritional Systems.

Currently, only our Functional Assessment System students have access to the archived webinars. We’ve been hosting webinars since 2017 and the entire database is included with our Functional Assessment System course.
We currently do not have any qualification prerequisites in place, although these courses were designed to educate active Health Care Practitioners in expanding their knowledge on Functional Nutrition and Herbal Therapy. If you are not a current Health Care Practitioner and/or have no background in Functional Nutrition, it is highly recommended that you first do some learning at a collegiate level Anatomy and Physiology course. After that, our online Functional Nutrition Therapy course is a great place to start.
It depends! All of our courses are self-paced meaning there are no time limits or restrictions. If you bought the course with a one time payment or would like to pay off your remaining balance, we can then unlock your entire course so you can move through the modules as quickly as you’d like (except for Functional Practice Management due to the subscription nature of the course).

Many of our students use our courses as training tools in their office. If this is the case, we ask that the login information be kept only at the office. Our software does track how many devices have been used to log in and if too many are used, your account will be locked. Functional Nutrition Therapy (FNT) and Functional Herbal Therapy (FHT) are both year long courses of 24 modules, 2 released per month. Most of our students take longer than a year as it is all designed to be self-paced. We do offer other courses that are less modules and therefore take less time to complete.

All of the readings for our courses are recommended. For Functional Herbal Therapy and Functional Nutrition Therapy, you can find a recommended reading list located in Module 2. For Functional Herbal Therapy and Cancer, all of the recommended articles and studies are linked on the reading pages found underneath each video. Most of the articles are free of charge however some do require a subscription or payment to the journal. Please note that all of our readings are recommended and not required.
The midterms and final exams in the same format as the rest of our quizzes. They are all multiple choice and you need a score of 80% or higher. It is all open note and open book with no time limit. We recommend using the worksheets as a study guide to help prepare. If you do not pass the first time, you will continue to receive chances until you do reach a passing score.
